I found a great resource for you - ProHipHop.com

Hey Folks,

Just a quick note today!

I have found another great resource for you to check out:

www.ProHipHop.com

Clyde runs the joint. He seems to be pretty on top of whats happening in the world of Hip Hop and has a lot of great articles, blogs, and news for you to consume. Go to the website, check it out, and let him know you found him on Jai’s Blog!!!

Hey, this made me think about something… so this post might be a bit longer than I thought!

Competition is not a bad thing. It drives us, motivates us, and makes us stay on top of our game. Like in this post, Clyde (ProHipHop.com) is not my direct competition but I had one of my staff members just ask me why I would send my readers to another Hip Hop Business Spot on the Web. It’s simple…

By giving my readers resources they can use, I am helping them out. This helps build trust with my readers and clients. They see that I am not just about the Money!!! I am about helping the industry as a whole. This blog is about helping you reach success with as little pain as possible.

When you are reaching out to folks, I highly suggest you hip them to other Artists you like and listen to. Let fans know who is hot and who they need to check out. There is plenty of available fans in the world, you don’t need every single one only listening to your new Joint! Remember, you don’t want to burn your fans out. By this I mean, they need alternatives. They need to listen to other groups that are similar to you or your Artists. This is what helps your genra of Hip Hop grow and multiply. It does not take anything away from you. Actually, it gives you a personal connection with your fans.

Fans love to feel like they are a part of a movement. Give it to them. Let them know what CDs you buy. Let them know what shows you support. And by all means, trust them to listen to your competition. They will thank you for it in the end…. You wont loose them. You are giving them something they want, need, or desire. Help build the Hip Hop community, don’t tear it down!!

Peace,
Jai
